Great independent cafe. Friendly staff. Seats about 30 people.Good strong coffee only 2.30, if you want another cup later on its just 90p. Standard type cooked breakfasts. Burger & chips type lunches. Sandwiches. Jacket potatoes. Omelette's. Soup.Limited veggie & vegan options but you'll get a warm meal.Most customers are elderly, when I go in the mornings. Not tried lunch yet. So far i can't fault service or price. Watch this space.

Excellent, but would have been nice if there was red or green top milk.Thank you for the reply I did ask and they said they had not got any ,I love a latte but if I had blue top I would have been poorly all day so just went for tea instead and a splash of milk xxx

Fantastic breakfasts on offer. Our first time in Newark and I think we struck gold with our pick for food. My partner had the standard breakfast and I got the vegetarian breakfast. Perfect portion with friendly staff to boot. If we ever come back to Newark we'll be sure to drop in. Not far from Castle Station.

Love Feeling Peckish, we've gone to quite a few cafés around Newark and Lincoln. And now we have found in Feeling Peckish one where the standards are continually high with excellent customer service. We are very fussy. But everything we've ordered in the several times we've been there has been lovely. Nothing is too much trouble. From separating eggs from beans/toms, too extra butter. The team will gladly help. Well done guys! Yes there's been a slight upgrade to the menu and it's even better! The bacon was lovely.

Cuppa and cake stop. Well liked local restaurant. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were there just before lunchtime and got very busy, so obviously highly rated by locals.

A friendly, warm welcome received in this busy establishment, thought we were out of luck but more tables upstairs. On street seating available also with views of the castle. A busy but relaxed atmosphere, fast efficient service, staff couldn't do enough for us. Food arrived promptly, well presented and was very tasty. Eggs Hemingway are recommended. Generous portions ensure that you will not leave here "Feeling Peckish".

Brilliant cooked breakfast, friendly staff that went above and beyond. Whilst in Feeling Peckish, we witnessed the staff help an elderly lady call a clinic to see if her husband had left yet. Fantastic and an asset to the local area!

Feeling peckish is a diamond amongst the dining venues of the area we had a table of 11 in the newly opened dining room upstairs, the food was amazing, plates hot, service perfect, don't walk past , we highly recommend feeling peckish . The cake and dessert options are just impossible to miss.
